About The Role

We are looking for a strategic Sales Manager to join the Zoo team to help us build out and own a best-in-class sales process to achieve growth targets for the company. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward and positioning Zoo solutions that align with customer objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in tech sales and prior experience owning an end to end sales process. You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the hardware design ecosystem, prior experience collaborating with engineering teams, and a deep understanding of how customers can best utilize Zoo’s products.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and drive Zoo’s end-to-end sales process from developing, managing, closing, onboarding, and supporting customers and their success with our products
  • Help us build a solid operating cadence around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, sales execution, and customer onboarding
  • Identify and target new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and research
  • Lead engaging discovery meetings, uncovering customer needs and desired business value
  • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key customers and have full command of their business model, application landscape and how Zoo’s solutions deliver value 
  • Provide guidance and best practices to apply Zoo products and technologies to achieve customers' business goals
  • Partner with the Zoo team to translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to continuously improve our sales approach and offerings

What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrated success in technical sales with experience owning the end-to-end sales process for a high-performance sales organization
  • Experience selling to small and large customers in SaaS, hardware development, or related industries with a proven ability to gain a deep understanding of their technical requirements and processes in order to drive sales
  • A metrics driven approach to sales 
  • Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to be scrappy and roll up your sleeves to ensure success
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with a high degree of autonomy

Nice to Have

  • Prior startup experience influencing early-stage sales processes 
  • Engineering acumen (experience with C++, Python and/or Rust is a big plus)
  • Familiarity with CAD
