AXIOM-1 is a flight-specification 1U CubeSat exterior assembly, a 100 mm × 100 mm × 113.5 mm nanosatellite chassis modeled to the CubeSat Design Specification. Every exterior feature is functional: the four anodized aluminum corner rails, the 3×2 triple-junction photovoltaic cell arrays on all four side faces, the +Z antenna deployment module with four radial tape-spring UHF slots, the remove-before-flight pin port and P-POD inhibit switch pocket on the +X access face, and the separation spring contact pad on the -Z deployer interface. The parametric structure means that changing a single dimension -- rail thickness, solar cell pitch, antenna slot depth -- propagates through the entire assembly, making this not just a model but a reusable design framework for any team building a 1U mission.
